Fly fishing is great fun and accessible to all
The Norfolk and Suffolk Flyfishers’ Society was formed in 1974 to encourage fly fishing in Norfolk and Suffolk.
The picturesque lakes at East Tuddenham can be fished by members and non-members alike on a day ticket, available at the lakes. Members enjoy greatly reduced charges to fish the lakes and can purchase just a membership, or a full rod or half rod ticket, according to budget.
Newcomers are always welcome and tips on casting and fly choice will always be readily given by other anglers down there - we like to think we are a friendly bunch.
Want to try Fly Fishing?
You can with our ‘Try The Fly’ Introductory days. Tuition, Tackle, Flies, a one day license and the chance to catch and take home 2 trout, all for just £20 for adults, £10 for under-17's.
Numbers are limited to 12 anglers to ensure a high level of coaching, and we expect demand to be high so book your place now.
We are lucky to have secured the services of Mike Smith and Jim Gill, both APGAI instructors to lead our ‘Try The Fly’ taster days, which are held regularly throughout the season. Qualified tuition, good company, refreshments, hard fighting fish and of course a bit of ‘fisherman’s banter’ make for a really enjoyable as well as informative day.
Special Offer! A whole day fly fishing for beginners for only £20 adults and £17 for children. Day includes expert tuition, all tackle, one day fishing licence and refreshments. You can even take two fish home with you for tea.
