We welcome members of all ages and all abilities.

Breckland Model Aero Club (BMAC) is a member of the British Model Flying Association (BMFA).

The club is situated near to the market town of Thetford in Norfolk, UK.

We welcome members of all ages and all abilities.

The Club has been flying near to Thetford in Norfolk for over 40 years. Originally known as the Vickers Flying Club, it began life at the local Rugby Club before migrating 400 yards to the current site adjacent to Thetford Power Station.

The club currently has approximately 20 members of all ages and abilities.

The majority of our members fly fixed wing aircraft. These are either IC engined or electric (battery). The models range from foam beginner planes to full replicas and 3D aircraft.

BMAC club members fly scaled helicopters as well as multi-rotored craft (ie tri-copters and quad-copters). The flying field has a concrete "heli-pad" for helicopter use.

Recent innovations have led to an increase in the use of FPV technology. The BMAC club welcomes FPV users, but maintains that in addition to any CAA guidelines, BMAC site regulations must be adhered to.

Breckland Model Aero Club (BMAC) Membership Seniors £30, Juniors (under 18) and Social (non-flying) £0
