Richard Hughes Cookery School
The Assembly House Theatre Street
Whatever your age, skill-set or appetite, we’ll have a class that will tickle your taste buds
We’re absolutely delighted to bring to you the 2020 Richard Hughes Cookery School programme which we believe is the most exciting yet!
It boasts a bountiful supply of brand-new classes and delicious content which we plan to serve up to students in our stunning bespoke kitchen in the heart of Norwich. Our award-winning cookery school is based in a purpose-built kitchen - fitted by Kestrel Kitchens – which offers our students more room, more equipment and more chances to learn a whole new range of cooking techniques.
This year we’ve got lots of new options on our cookery school menu, with a host of new tutors joining Richard in the kitchen. With years of expertise between them we welcome the UK chocolate ambassador Gary Hunter, our gluten-free expert Steve Thorpe, our very own Master pâtissier Mark Mitson and esteemed cake decorator Laura Grix to the team.
We also have visits from Richard Bainbridge of Benedicts Restaurant, Jaime Garbutt from Figbar and a wonderful new ‘Cooking the Books’ club with Henry Layte of Book Hive.
Whatever your age, skill-set or appetite, we’ll have a class that will tickle your taste buds and make you yearn to learn more about food and its preparation.
