A family friendly archery club with 360+ days a year outdoor shooting and 3 days a week indoors during winter.
Wymondham Archers is a family and community friendly club. We have regular beginners courses all year round, and all archers are welcome from clubs anywhere in the country.
We already have a good selection of bow styles and all levels of archer. Our future plans for the club are to hold regional competitions to begin with and then larger national world record status competitions eventually.
We are a sociable group often sharing a meal together or visiting the cinema.
We host Have-a-Go days, support local charities and have a fantastic clubhouse hosted by Wymondham Rugby Football Club. Around one third of all our archers are women.
We have the largest junior club in Norfolk. Our youngest archer is 8 years old and our oldest is 80. We coach archery every week and encourage people to take part.
If you enjoy getting outdoors, being amongst like minded folk, then archery is for you.
We offer all the equipment necessary to begin archery. Once your course is completed we will bring you along with intermediate coaching accompany you for your first purchase if a new bow, if you wish to buy one. We have hire bows also that archers can hire for a year prior to purchasing new equipment.
